At our location in Berlin, our employees manufacture key components for the ASML lithography systems. As part of our precision manufacturing, you will support the production of optical components, assemblies and systems made of glass, glass ceramics and ceramics for our high-tech small series, single part and prototype production.

Process engineer: bonding process

Your tasks

  • Process responsibility for the joining and tempering of ceramic materials including the technological support of the systems
  • Management and support of process modifications and optimizations,
  • Applying statistical process control (SPC) and conducting a continuous improvement process (CIP)
  • Leading projects to reduce manufacturing costs in series processes (including reducing rework and scrap costs)
  • Supervision and technological support of takeover projects from process and product development
  • Carrying out in-process tests including corresponding evaluations
  • Preparation of specifications as well as support in the procurement, commissioning and maintenance of production systems
  • Creation of work instructions and instruction documents including training of production employees
  • Design, improvement and accompanying introduction of new designs within production (e.g. tooling, peripherals)

your qualification

  • Successfully completed natural or engineering studies (master/diploma)
  • Experience in the field of microsystem technology (e.g. anodic bonding), ceramic treatment
  • Good English knowledge

your skills

  • Experience in dealing with high-temperature processes on ceramic components
  • Independent, structured way of working
  • Very good analytical and communication skills
