Your tasks

In our ISA area (ion beam system), our colleagues manufacture high-precision optical components, assemblies and systems made of glass, glass ceramics and ceramics using ion beam processing technology under clean room conditions.

Your tasks:

Operation of the ISA systems

• Operation of the ion beam systems
• Installation/removal of production parts in the systems
• Calibration of production parts and documentation of data and processing results (SPC)
• Optical inspection of production parts according to specifications
• Carrying out maintenance tasks according to specifications

Construction and preparation of production parts:

• Optical inspection and control of production parts
• Cleaning and masking of production parts
• Construction and preparation of production parts
• Carrying out interferometric measurements
• Cleaning of auxiliary parts and shelves

Your profile

Professional Experience:

• A completed technical education e.g. B. as a precision optician, precision mechanic, flat glass mechanic, optician, dental technician, watchmaker, microtechnologist, physics laboratory assistant, physical-technical assistant (m/f/d) or a similar training
• Experience working under clean room conditions
• Experience in handling optical components
• Experience in handling CNC-controlled processing machines
• Good MS Office knowledge
• Ideally experience with image editing programs

Personal skills:

• Very careful, independent way of working as well as a high quality awareness
• Good team and communication skills
• Very good fine motor skills and manual dexterity
• Willingness to work in a three-shift system and under clean room conditions
